Private-pay care with fewer surprises
Book Concierge Psychiatric Services does not bill insurance directly. Patients receive fee and payment information before confirming care.
Why private-pay?
Working outside of insurance networks allows more flexibility in appointment length, scheduling, communication between visits, follow-up cadence, and treatment planning.
It means the plan is built around what is clinically useful for you rather than around an external review process, and it keeps expectations about cost clear from the beginning.
Fees
Specific fees are reviewed before an appointment is confirmed. The free 15-minute consultation does not include diagnosis or treatment.
Payment
A valid credit or debit card is kept securely on file. Payment is collected at the time of service unless other arrangements have been confirmed in advance.
A receipt is provided for each payment.
Superbills
Superbills may be available for patients who independently choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement.
Cancellation policy
Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, and missed appointments, may be charged the full visit fee.
Professional services outside appointments
Substantial time spent outside of scheduled visits â such as written reports, letters, extensive messaging, records review, or coordination with other providers or organizations â may involve additional charges where the practice’s policy applies. You will be told in advance when that is the case.
No Surprises Act
Under the No Surprises Act, patients who are not using insurance are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs for services. An estimate is provided before care begins and upon request.
Privacy
Private-pay care does not mean anonymous care. Clinical documentation, prescribing records, and other legally required records are still maintained, and certain disclosures may be required by law or by clinical circumstances.
What private-pay does change is that treatment decisions are not routed through an insurer’s review process.
